Our next meeting will be held on September 18. Nancy Dailey will be talking about the hot topic of social networking. In particular, she will explain the advantages and uses of sites like Facebook and what you should do to get the most out of these sites while protecting your privacy. This should be interesting and important to anyone thinking of joining one of these sites.

In the October meeting, we will be discussing the best way to use the powerful search engines that are now available. Most folks are well aware of Google, but there are other search tools that bring additional strengths to the search process. Come learn about them in this meeting!

What's a document? What's an application? What are folders and how should I use and organize them? Those are the things that we'll be going over in November. It seems pretty simple, but has a big impact on how easy and efficiently you can use your computer. Make sure to bring a list of questions you have on this topic or better yet, e-mail anything you'd like to have discussed to Meeting Topics.
